The Bell Farm in Loxahatchee, Palm Beach County

The Bell Farm is a working agritourism farm at 16140 Okeechobee Blvd, Loxahatchee, FL 33470. It has operated since January 5, 2025. Here is what is worth reading this week, and why.

A plant nursery in Loxahatchee

The question it answers: Where do you buy plants locally, and which office rules apply to your lot?

The fact worth the click: Loxahatchee is a mailing address, not one jurisdiction, and The Acreage sits inside the Indian Trail Improvement District, which maintains the swale in front of each lot. Read the Loxahatchee nursery page ↗

Planting in Palm Beach Gardens

The question it answers: What should you settle before a new bed goes in?

The fact worth the click: the city keeps a City Forester and regulates the removal of trees and palms, and several communities have an architectural review board with a say over what is visible from the street. Read the Palm Beach Gardens page ↗

Plants for West Palm Beach

The question it answers: Which plants suit a coastal city lot?

The fact worth the click: the coastal core sits in the 170 mph design-wind band, so salt-tolerant, wind-tolerant natives are the practical choice, and the City’s Historic Preservation Board reviews exterior changes in four historic districts. Read the West Palm Beach page ↗

A cold plunge from Palm Springs

The question it answers: Is there an outdoor alternative to a cold plunge tub on the patio?

The fact worth the click: a permanent plunge at your own address goes through the Village’s Planning, Zoning & Building Department at 226 Cypress Lane, while the farm’s soak is already built: pond $60 per person, bannik $90 per person. Read the Palm Springs page ↗

Private events near Wellington

The question it answers: Where can a Wellington host go when the village is full of show season?

The fact worth the click: Loxahatchee is unincorporated Palm Beach County, and the farm is registered with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services as an agritourism operation; a farm dinner is $150 per person. See private events near Wellington ↗

The Bell Farm is an FDACS Registered Agritourism Operator and a Visit Florida Farms member since May 2026.

The site behind this farm has been recognised: CSS Design Awards Special Kudos 2026 · Web Design Awards Winner 2026.
