The Village's own building department

Palm Springs is its own incorporated Village, not unincorporated county land — it runs its own Planning, Zoning & Building Department at 226 Cypress Lane, with an online portal for permit applications, plan review and inspection scheduling, entirely separate from the Palm Beach County Building Division that governs unincorporated Loxahatchee. Window and door replacement needs that Village permit and product-approval documentation, and a licensed contractor holds the permit and stands for final inspection.

Palm Springs also sits only a few miles inland of the Intracoastal, close enough to the coast that Palm Beach County's Figure 1609.3(1) Ultimate Design Wind Speed map for Risk Category II buildings places the entire Village inside the 170 mph band — the same top-tier reading that covers West Palm Beach's mainland, and meaningfully higher than the 160-165 mph Wellington sees or the 140-160 mph further west in Royal Palm Beach and Loxahatchee. Any new or replacement window or door opening needs a product carrying a Florida Product Approval rated to that figure, and we confirm it against your exact address before we quote.

Condo-board review only where it applies

We install across Palm Springs Village, Lake Clarke Gardens, the Lake Worth Corridor and Lakeside Village Condominiums. Roughly two-thirds of Palm Springs housing is single-family homes on individually owned lots with no HOA architectural-review layer at all — the Village permit is the only sign-off those installs need. The remaining third sits in condominium communities such as Lake Clarke Gardens, a 55+ condominium community, and Lakeside Village Condominiums, where the association's own rules govern window and door profile, frame finish and color before the Village will permit it. We get that community standard in hand up front so the job doesn't stall between the board and Village Hall.
