Boynton Beach is an incorporated city with its own Building Department at City Hall, 100 E. Ocean Avenue — separate from unincorporated Palm Beach County. Since May 2021 every application runs through the City's SagesGov e-permitting platform: submittal, plan review, issuance, inspections and close-out all in one system. Typical building permit review runs 15–20 days. A licensed contractor must hold the permit and be present at final inspection; we submit and track every Boynton Beach kitchen remodel through that same SagesGov portal rather than a paper process that no longer applies here.
