AMERICA is a state-licensed food truck that pulls up at your Delray Beach party, opens a window, and lets guests walk up and order from a seasonal board built from the FDACS Florida crops calendar. You stay with your guests while the truck does the cooking.
Private catering starts from $800, the one party figure we publish. For anything else we ask for the date, the address and the head count first. Call (561) 779-3213, or leave your name and phone above.
A Delray Beach party meets city rules, old streets and coastal weather. These are worth settling before the date is set.
1 · The City, not the county
Delray Beach is an incorporated city with its own Development Services Building Division at 100 NW 1st Avenue, so a party here answers to the City rather than to the county’s unincorporated offices. A food truck is licensed by the state, but a rented tent, stage or other temporary structure may need City review. Confirm your address is inside city limits, since some nearby mailing addresses sit just outside the line.
2 · Historic districts and narrow streets
Delray Beach has five locally designated historic districts: Old School Square, Del-Ida Park, Nassau Park, the Marina District and the West Settlers District. Del-Ida Park, platted in 1923, is known for its bungalows and Mediterranean Revival homes on small lots. A bus needs firm, level ground and room to get in and out, so tell us the street and where guests will line up.
3 · Gated 55+ communities
Kings Point and Rainberry Bay are gated 55+ communities, and gated communities in general answer to an association. The association decides what happens on its property, so check vendor, parking and gate-access rules with the manager, then send us the gate details.
4 · Established neighborhoods without gates
Lake Ida and Osceola Park are established, non-gated neighborhoods. Without a gate, the questions become street parking, driveway width and neighbors, so measure the open space and think about where a line of guests will form.
5 · Coastal weather
All of Palm Beach County, Delray Beach included, sits inside the Florida Building Code’s Wind-Borne Debris Region, and summer afternoons bring sudden storms. Pick a firm, high spot for the truck and a covered place for guests, and call us when the forecast turns so we can talk through the date.
6 · Oceanfront and Intracoastal parcels
Waterfront lots are often long and narrow, with the house set back from a shared drive or a seawall. Tell us about the approach to the yard and any height or width limits before the date is booked, so the bus can reach you without a surprise.
A party is often the last item on a long list. Before the guests arrive, the construction team can help if the yard or the house needs work and you need to know which permits the City requires, a roof check is worth doing ahead of storm season, the property team can answer association and clubhouse questions, and land services can clear or level ground where the bus has to stand.
