West Palm Beach Stucco
Residents of West Palm Beach name neighbourhoods, not the city: El Cid, Flamingo Park, Old Northwood, Southland Park, Grandview Heights and the SoSo and Prospect Park area. The housing stock mixes century-old bungalows, mid-century block homes and newer infill, so one street can hold a wall with original stucco beside one rebuilt to current code.
On that mix the damage we find is rarely the same twice. Salt air and wet-season rain work in at window corners, roof edges and old patches. We find where the water got in, then write one scope: cut back to sound material, rebuild the backing, and match the existing texture and colour.
Know Before You Build
West Palm Beach is the county seat and an incorporated city, with its own Development Services Department, Building Division. Permits, plan review and inspection scheduling run through the City’s EPL (Enterprise Permitting & Licensing) platform and its Civic Access portal. That is a different system from the Palm Beach County Building Division that governs unincorporated Loxahatchee, and we submit through the City’s.
The owner is a Florida state-certified general contractor (CGC1528750), and where stucco is part of permitted work the permit is pulled under that licence. We hold a Palm Beach County business tax receipt. We do not hold a City of West Palm Beach receipt, and we do not claim one.
Historic Districts
El Cid, Flamingo Park, Old Northwood and Southland Park are designated City of West Palm Beach Historic Preservation districts. There the City’s Historic Preservation Board must approve exterior changes before a permit is finaled; interior-only work generally does not trigger review. Grandview Heights, SoSo, Prospect Park and the rest of the city follow standard City permitting with no extra board, unless the property sits in a private HOA. We scope which path your wall is on before we quote.
Wind & Code
Under the Florida Building Code design wind map (Risk Category II, Exposure C, 3-second gust), the city’s coastal core, downtown and the neighbourhoods along the Intracoastal, falls in the 170 mph band. A stucco patch is a finish repair, but where a wall repair touches an opening, any new or resized unit must be Florida Product Approved to that standard and confirmed for your specific parcel. We check before we quote.
Proof
In 2025 we restored a structural beam and lintel over a patio opening in West Palm Beach: shored, demolished, new steel, reformed and repoured. As the owner puts it, this was a concrete restoration project we had to do with a permit in West Palm Beach, and the permit was pulled through the Palm Beach County Building Department. See it on our concrete restoration page. It was concrete, not stucco, and we make no claim of a West Palm Beach stucco project.
The Work
Crack and water-damage repair, cutting back to sound material, rebuilding backing, texture and colour matching and block wall repair, written as one scope. See the stucco and masonry service page for how a repair runs. Estimates are free, every job carries a written one-year workmanship warranty, and we do not price a diagnosis over the phone.

The permit office changes with the address. See our stucco pages for Wellington and The Acreage, or go back to the stucco contractor hub. The full West Palm Beach construction page lists the rest of our work in the city.

Questions, Answered
West Palm Beach is an incorporated city with its own Development Services Department, Building Division. Permits, plan review and inspections run through the City's EPL platform and its Civic Access portal, not through the Palm Beach County Building Division that covers unincorporated areas. We confirm this before we write the estimate.
In El Cid, Flamingo Park, Old Northwood and Southland Park, the City's Historic Preservation Board must approve exterior changes before a permit is finaled. Whether a like-for-like repair triggers review depends on the scope, so we check with the City for your address before we quote. Interior-only work generally does not trigger it.
The city's coastal core, downtown and the neighbourhoods along the Intracoastal, falls in the 170 mph band of the Florida Building Code design wind map (Risk Category II, Exposure C). A wall patch is a finish repair, but any new or resized opening needs a Florida Product Approved unit confirmed for your parcel.
Century-old bungalows, mid-century block homes and newer infill share a coastal climate of salt air, sun and heavy wet-season rain. Water gets in at window corners, roof edges, old patches and where an addition meets the original wall. We look for the entry point before we patch.
No. We hold a Palm Beach County business tax receipt, which is a local business tax registration and not a contractor licence. The licence is the owner's Florida Certified General Contractor CGC1528750, and a state-certified contractor may contract in any Florida county.

That is the aim of every repair. After cutting back to sound material and rebuilding the backing, we match the existing texture and colour. Where an association or historic board must approve a visible change, we get that sign-off first.
