What You Are Booking

Palm Beach Gardens guests book two units at The Bell Farm, an FDACS Registered Agritourism Operator at 16140 Okeechobee Blvd, Loxahatchee, FL 33470. The Farm Cottage sleeps four, from $175 a night at peak. The Tiny Oasis is from $145 a night at peak.

Those are starting rates: they are the peak-season figures, and rates vary by season and length of stay. Call (561) 779-3213 for the number that applies to your dates, or book through Airbnb if you prefer. Randolph owns the farm.

Why the Gardens Looks West

Palm Beach Gardens is a planned city, laid out in the late 1950s as a garden city, and most of it sits inside a community with its own architectural review board: PGA National, BallenIsles, Frenchman’s Creek, Mirasol, Evergrene and others. Those boards govern what a home looks like from the street, so when a household wants a weekend with real land around it, the answer is outside the gates and to the west.

That is where Loxahatchee sits. The farm is not inside the City of Palm Beach Gardens. It is in unincorporated western Palm Beach County, on land classified agricultural, and the City of Palm Beach Gardens Building Division at 10500 N Military Trail has no say there. It is also inland, so a stay here is about wind and rain rather than storm surge, and if a storm is forecast for your dates, call before you travel. The whole county falls inside the Florida Building Code’s Wind-Borne Debris Region.

Having work done at home in the Gardens, with the roof off or the windows out? A cottage that sleeps four keeps the household together while the noise is somewhere else. Ask about your dates when you call.

Add to Your Stay

Ask about these when you book: the natural spring pond at $60 per person, the wood-fired bannik at $90 per person (towels, venik and laundry are $15 per person, children half price), and a private farm-to-table dinner at $150 per person. Twilight Meet the Bees is $50 adult and $25 under 12. Details are on the natural spring soak and Meet the Bees pages. For weddings and events, see the farm wedding venue page for Palm Beach Gardens.

Where It Is

16140 Okeechobee Blvd, Loxahatchee, FL 33470. The drive depends on where in the Gardens you start and on traffic, so call (561) 779-3213 and we will talk you through the route. To be sure you have the right Bell Farm: this is the one in Palm Beach County, phone (561) 779-3213. A separate, unrelated farm of the same name operates in Deltona.

Coming from elsewhere? See the farm stay for West Palm Beach guests, for Wellington guests, or for Loxahatchee. The full list is on the Farm Cottage hub.

Also in Palm Beach Gardens, for the work you may need next: construction if the reason you want a place to stay is a renovation, roofing if a storm or an insurer is behind it, property management if you sit on an association board, and land services for clearing and site work.
