The Short Answer

An Acreage party usually means a big lawn, a long driveway and a lot of cars. A food truck suits that: AMERICA arrives, opens a window, and your guests walk up and order from a seasonal board built from the FDACS Florida crops calendar. Nobody is cooking in your kitchen.

Private catering starts from $800. That is the one figure we publish for a party; for anything else we ask for the date, the address and the head count first. Call (561) 779-3213, or leave your name and phone above.

Why The Acreage Is Different
Unincorporated, so no town hall
The Acreage is unincorporated Palm Beach County, not a village or a town. There is no separate Acreage building department; county offices serve it, the same as neighbouring Loxahatchee. A backyard party does not change that, but it is why a booking here starts with your address and not a town ordinance.
Roads, canals and swales belong to ITID
The Indian Trail Improvement District looks after the roads, canals and drainage swales across about 37 square miles. It is a taxing district, not a homeowners' association. Culverts and swales are drainage works, so when we plan where a bus sits we ask about the driveway and gate and keep AMERICA off the swale.
Acre lots and long driveways
Homesites here commonly run an acre or more, often with a long private driveway and no sidewalk. That is room for a truck, a few tables and a crowd, and it is also why parking guests is the part of an Acreage party worth planning.
Mostly no HOA, not always
Most of The Acreage grew from platted acreage lots and carries no association, so there is usually no architectural committee to ask. Some later subdivisions and enclaves do have deed restrictions. Check your own street, and tell us if a gate code or rule applies.
Sun, storms and little shade
An open acre has the full Florida sun and little wind-break. Afternoon storms are part of summer. Plan where guests can stand under cover, and call us if the forecast moves; we will talk through your date.
Next door to the bus
AMERICA is based at The Bell Farm, 16140 Okeechobee Blvd in Loxahatchee, the community beside The Acreage. See the Loxahatchee party catering page and the food truck page for The Acreage.
Which Kind of Party?
1 · The birthday or graduation
The date, the guest count and when the window should open and close are the whole booking. Parties of up to 200 guests are inside what AMERICA serves.
2 · The family weekend
Out here families gather in one yard. The bus parks, opens a window, and the host never leaves the party to run a kitchen.
3 · The community or club night
A barn, a ranch-style yard or a club social. For the host’s checklist, read the how to host a food truck guide.
4 · The wedding
Weddings and larger catering start from $2,500 and are planned differently. Read the wedding catering guide.
How a Party Booking Works
1 · The call
Date, address, head count and the time window. That is enough to start.
2 · The menu
The board follows what is in season on your date. Tell us about vegetarian, vegan and allergen needs when you call.
3 · The day
AMERICA arrives, parks, serves your guests from the window and breaks down.

Planning a party often means work on the property first: land clearing and lot prep if the back of the acre needs opening up, roofing and construction before guests see the house, and property management if the party is for a community or a rental.

Party Catering in The Acreage — FAQ

How much does party catering cost in The Acreage?

Private catering with AMERICA starts from $800 for a party of up to 200 guests, wherever in The Acreage you are. Weddings and larger catering start from $2,500. Call (561) 779-3213 with the date, the address and the head count and we will talk through your party.

Do you bring the food truck to a home on an acre lot in The Acreage?

Yes. AMERICA is a food truck, so the party happens at your address. A long Acreage driveway or open lawn is a good place for a bus to park. Tell us about the driveway and the gate when you call so we can plan where she sits.

Is The Acreage part of a city, and does that change a party booking?

No. The Acreage is unincorporated Palm Beach County, so there is no separate town hall. Roads, canals and drainage swales are looked after by the Indian Trail Improvement District, which is a taxing district and not a homeowners' association. For a party the practical point is where the truck parks, so we ask about the driveway rather than the swale.

Do I need homeowners' association approval for a food truck party in The Acreage?

Most of The Acreage grew from platted acreage lots and carries no HOA, but some later subdivisions and enclaves do have deed restrictions. If your street has an association, check its rules on vendors and parking before the date, and tell us what you find.

What about summer rain and storms?

Parties on an open acre have little shade or wind-break, and afternoon storms are part of the Florida summer. Plan where guests can go under cover, and call us if the forecast changes. We will talk through the date with you.

How many guests can AMERICA serve at a party in The Acreage?

AMERICA serves events of up to 200 guests. Tell us whether guests arrive all at once or over several hours, because the length of the service window matters as much as the head count.

Is AMERICA licensed to cater a party?

Yes. AMERICA operates under Florida Mobile Food Dispensing Vehicle license MFD1654011 under Chapter 509 of the Florida Statutes, issued April 2, 2026 and expiring December 1, 2026. It is a state license, and AMERICA is part of Bell Engineering and Construction Corporation.

How far is AMERICA from The Acreage?

AMERICA is based at The Bell Farm, 16140 Okeechobee Blvd, Loxahatchee, the community next door to The Acreage, and takes bookings across Palm Beach County.

What is cheaper, a food truck or catering?

It depends on the party. Private catering with AMERICA starts from $800 for the event, with no rented kitchen and no serving staff to hire. Compare the all-in total from each caterer in writing, including minimums, and then compare the food.
