We level lot pads, fix puddling and cut driveway bases in Greenacres with a Bobcat T740 and 60" grapple: $1,385 a day, operator included. Call (561) 779-3213 for a free site walk.
Greenacres is a built-out city of block homes, condos, villas and townhomes, and the grading work that comes with it is rarely a wide-open field. It is a back yard where water sits against the slab, a side lot that has to be leveled before a shed or an addition goes down, or a driveway that needs a firm, shaped base. The T740 is a compact track machine, so it gets into those spaces, and the grapple moves roots, rubble and spoil as it works.
Grading here is priced by the day, not by the acre, because the number of passes depends on how far off level the ground starts, not on its square footage. Tell us the address and what the ground has to do when we leave: drain, sit level, or carry a vehicle. You get a straight answer on a free walk of the site before any figure is written down.
The City. Greenacres is an incorporated city with its own Development & Neighborhood Services / Building Division at City Hall, 5800 Melaleuca Lane, and its own ePermit portal. It is a separate process from the unincorporated Palm Beach County one that governs Loxahatchee and The Acreage. Grading that changes drainage, or pad work ahead of a building project, is a question for the City, and we confirm the requirement for your parcel before the machine is booked.
The association. Many Greenacres addresses sit inside an HOA or a condo, villa or townhome association, Covered Bridge and Palm Beach Villas among them. Board approval is a second sign-off beside the City permit. One does not clear the other.
The drainage district. Canals and easements are drainage infrastructure, not spare yard. In this part of the county they are generally run by the Lake Worth Drainage District, with the City covering its own streets and stormwater. If a grade would touch a canal bank, culvert or easement, that is raised with the right authority first.
Bell Land Services operates under Bell Engineering and Construction Corporation, in operation continuously since February 2009. The owner is a Florida state-certified general contractor, CGC1528750, and the firm is an EPA Lead-Safe Certified Firm (#NAT-F122701-2), which matters on older Greenacres homes built before 1978. State certification lets him contract in any Florida county. We do not have a named Greenacres grading project to point to, and we would rather say so than dress up a job that is not ours.

Once the ground is graded, the next step is usually a permit and a build. Our construction team in Greenacres handles additions, impact windows and remodels on the new pad, roofing in Greenacres covers the re-roof if the house is due, and property management in Greenacres covers community association management for the boards behind the HOA and condo sign-offs above.
Our Bobcat T740 with a 60-inch grapple is $1,385 per day with an operator, the same rate everywhere we work, with no Greenacres surcharge. A small lot pad, a drainage fix or a driveway base is often a one-day job. How far off level the ground starts, whether fill has to be brought in and how tight the access is all move the day count, and the free site walk settles that before anything is written down.
It depends on the work. Greenacres is an incorporated city with its own Development & Neighborhood Services / Building Division at City Hall, 5800 Melaleuca Lane, and its own ePermit portal, separate from the unincorporated Palm Beach County process. Grading that changes drainage, or building-pad work ahead of an addition, is a question for the City. We confirm the requirement for your parcel with the City before the machine is booked rather than guessing.
Often, yes. Much of Greenacres sits inside an HOA, condo, villa or townhome association, such as Covered Bridge and Palm Beach Villas, and board approval is a separate sign-off from the City permit. One does not clear the other, so we treat both as open questions from the first site walk.
Drainage is its own question from the building permit. Much of eastern Palm Beach County's canal system is run by independent drainage districts, and for Greenacres that is generally the Lake Worth Drainage District, with the City covering its own streets and stormwater. A culvert, canal bank or easement is drainage infrastructure, not spare yard. If grading would touch one, we raise it with the right authority before work starts.
The common calls are a leveled pad ahead of an addition, shed, pool or slab, drainage grading so water moves toward the street or a swale instead of pooling against a foundation, and driveway or parking base prep. The same T740 and grapple also handle small-lot clearing and debris moving before grading starts.
Greenacres sits a few miles inland, so it is generally outside Florida's Wind-Borne Debris Region, though the Florida Building Code still requires wind-resistant construction across Palm Beach County. Grading itself carries no wind-load requirement, but if a build follows it, we check your exact address against the current wind-speed map.
