Based in Palm Beach Gardens and looking for somewhere that is not another gated clubhouse lawn? The Bell Farm is a working farm west of the city in Loxahatchee: sugarcane, tropical water lilies, farm animals, a young native-plant nursery and a hand-converted 1979 Blue Bird bus.
Palm Beach Gardens was planned as a garden city, and much of it is governed ground. PGA National, BallenIsles, Frenchman’s Creek, Mirasol, Evergrene, Alton and Avenir each run their own architectural review, so a photographer who wants to work inside one is dealing with an association board first. The city also keeps a City Forester whose job is to protect the canopy, and building matters run through the City of Palm Beach Gardens Building Division on N Military Trail. None of that matters for a family portrait on a driveway. It matters when a crew wants an open field or a real working object to build a frame around.
The Bell Farm sits outside all of that: one property at 16140 Okeechobee Blvd, Loxahatchee, one phone number, and no association board between you and the booking.
All of Palm Beach Gardens sits in the Florida Building Code’s Wind-Borne Debris Region, a reminder that this is a hurricane-coast county, and the eastern side of the city lives with salt air. The farm is an open-air set, so plan the day as you would any outdoor shoot in South Florida: keep a backup date and talk through the forecast with us beforehand. Our seasonal events calendar shows how the property changes month by month.
There is no published day rate here, and we won’t invent one. We have not confirmed specifics on power hookups, permits, insurance riders or crew parking, so raise them on the call and we will tell you plainly what the property can and cannot accommodate.
If a shoot is part of a bigger plan, these pages cover the same city: the construction guide if a property needs permitted work before it is photographed, roofing for a roof that has to last through storm season, property management for associations that field location requests, and land services for clearing and site prep.
