Why Us
The only Palm Beach County contractor who is also a certified energy engineer — the owner inspects every job. Gutters are fabricated on site from our own machine, so the length you see on the house is the length that was formed for it, with no splices mid-run. Free estimates, and a written one-year workmanship warranty on every job.
Rain & Roofs
Jupiter's wet season runs through the summer and into the fall, and the storms that come with it deliver a lot of water in a short time. A trough that looks fine in a dry month can overflow behind itself in the first big downpour. We size the gutter and the number and placement of downspouts for the roof area each run has to carry, and we lay out corners so water is not asked to turn sharply under load.
Roof type matters as much as volume. Older coastal homes near the inlet and along the Loxahatchee River often carry tile or shingle on a second or third roof, many Mediterranean-style homes carry barrel tile, some newer homes have standing-seam metal, and plenty have a flat or low-slope section over a garage or porch. Each one puts the roof edge in a different place relative to the fascia, so pitch, hanger spacing and drip-edge detail are set per house, not from a standard layout.
Fascia & Salt Air
When an old gutter leaks behind itself, the fascia board stays wet and softens, and the rafter tails behind it can follow. Replacing the gutter without checking the wood just hangs a new gutter on the same problem. We probe the fascia once the old run is off. Sound wood stays, failed wood is repaired first, and then the new gutter goes up on something that will hold a fastener.
Near the coast, salt air shortens the life of fasteners and hardware, so we specify corrosion-resistant components there as a matter of course. Jupiter also sits in the Florida Building Code's Wind-Borne Debris Region, with design wind speeds running roughly 160-175 mph and climbing toward the ocean, which is one more reason a gutter should be fastened into solid wood and not into a rotted edge.
Permitting & HOA
Jupiter is an incorporated town with its own Building Department at 210 Military Trail and an online CDS portal for applications and inspections. It is not unincorporated county. Gutter work on sound fascia is usually simple, but when it rides along with roof-edge or fascia carpentry we ask the Town what your scope needs before we start, and we do not guess.
Then there is the association. Abacoa is a deed-restricted master-planned community whose architectural standards govern colours, materials and elevations, and gated golf communities like Jonathan's Landing and Admirals Cove run their own review boards. Gutter colour and downspout placement are the usual questions. We match the trim colour where the rules call for it, keep downspouts off the main entry elevation where we can, and prepare the submittal the board wants.
Proof
We hold Florida State-Certified General Contractor license CGC1528750 and are an EPA Lead-Safe Certified Firm, #NAT-F122701-2, and BBB A+ accredited. Our confirmed seamless-gutter jobs are in Wellington and Royal Palm Beach, both 2025 (see the Strathmore Gate West gutters). We have no Jupiter gutter job to show you, and we will not invent one. What we do bring is the same on-site fabrication, the same fascia check and the same warranty, from a company based just west in Loxahatchee. Gutters protect the roof edge, so the roofing question usually follows: roofing in Jupiter covers re-roofs and storm repairs, and a new gutter line is easiest to hang when the roof edge is done. Questions, Answered
It depends on the scope. Jupiter is an incorporated town with its own Building Department at 210 Military Trail, separate from unincorporated Palm Beach County, and it takes applications through its online CDS portal. A gutter swap on sound fascia is a different job from one that comes with roof edge or fascia carpentry, so we ask the Town about your scope before we start rather than assuming. Call (561) 779-3213 and we will tell you what applies to your address.
Often, yes. Abacoa is deed-restricted with architectural standards that govern colours, materials and elevations, and gated golf communities such as Jonathan's Landing and Admirals Cove run their own review boards. Gutter and downspout colour, and where the downspouts land on the front elevation, are the usual points. We match the trim or fascia colour where the rules ask for it and prepare what the board wants to see before the metal is formed.
A seamless gutter is formed at the house from a single coil, so a long run has no seams to open up. In Jupiter's wet season, when summer storms drop a great deal of water in a short time, seams are where sectional gutters tend to leak and pull away. Fewer joints means fewer places for water to get behind the gutter and into the fascia.
Fascia is the board the gutter hangs from. When an old gutter leaks or overflows behind itself, the board stays wet and goes soft. A new gutter screwed into soft wood will not hold, so we probe the fascia while the old gutter is down. Sound wood stays; failed wood is repaired first, because the new gutter is only as secure as what it is fastened to.
Yes. Many Jupiter homes carry barrel or flat tile, others have shingle, and some have standing-seam metal. Where the roof edge sits relative to the fascia, how far the tile or metal overhangs, and what the drip edge does all decide whether water lands in the trough or runs behind it. We set the pitch and the hanger spacing for the roof you have rather than a standard layout.
No. The linear feet, the number of corners and downspouts, the height of the eaves and the condition of the fascia all change the work, and none of that is visible from a phone call. We offer free estimates, and we put the scope in writing after we have looked at the house. Every job carries a written one-year workmanship warranty.
