Lake Worth Beach sits on the Atlantic side of the county, so a house left shut for months deals with salt air, summer humidity and the possibility of storm damage. Much of the oldest housing here is 1910s to 1930s wood-frame bungalow, with 1940s and 1950s concrete block homes filled in around it, and original wood windows and roofs on their second or third replacement are common. A slow leak or a stuck window in one of those houses is exactly what a visit is meant to catch. Home watch means a person checks the house on a schedule you agree in advance. BeacCorp Property Management offers it, and our vacation home watch guide covers the vacancy-clause question to put to your insurer.
The city has local historic districts, including College Park, Old Lucerne, Northeast Lucerne, Southeast Lucerne, South Palm Park and the Old Town Commercial District, where exterior work needs a Certificate of Appropriateness alongside the building permit. If a visit finds damage in one of them, the repair path is longer than in a plain subdivision, so tell the person doing your checks which district the house is in. Condominiums and HOAs add their own rules on access, contractors and hurricane preparation. Randolph Scott Bell holds CAM34850 and the firm license CAB3255 and knows how these boards operate; see condo association management in Lake Worth.
Lake Worth Beach is an incorporated city with its own Building Division at 1900 2nd Avenue North and an online permitting portal, entirely separate from unincorporated Palm Beach County, so repairs found on a visit are permitted there. The city fronts the Atlantic and sits in the Wind-Borne Debris Region, which matters for openings and roofs. Randolph holds CGC1528750 and CCC1332751, so he can say what a roof or window repair involves. BeacCorp holds a Palm Beach County business tax receipt, a local registration and not a contractor license.
Agree before you leave who prepares the house ahead of a named storm, who is called first and who pays. This page promises no visit times or response times; call (561) 779-3213 to ask how BeacCorp would set up your home.
If a visit finds damage, the repair is covered by our Lake Worth construction and Lake Worth roofing pages; owners of a larger lot may want our Lake Worth land page; and for a gathering when you return, see Lake Worth food truck.

A home watch company checks your house on a schedule while you are away so problems such as leaks, a failed air conditioner or storm damage are found early. Agree in writing how often visits happen, what is checked and how you are told.
